About Us
We are passionate about helping attractions create fun, imaginative and immersive spaces in their venues, whether that be permanent installations or temporary seasonal events.
Hi, I’m Layona, the founder here at Artifex Designs.Β Following 20 years as a mural artist, a background in attractions management and a desire to follow my dream of enjoying going to work everyday and seeing visitors enjoy my creations, Artifex Designs was born.
We cover a whole host of exciting, artistic and creative services.Β Over the years we have worked alongside and built up a team of diverse professionals enabling the big builds, cute and cosy, inventive, immersive, magical, creative, creepy and completely mad spaces in our portfolio.
We have worked with a wide range of farm parks, zooβs, garden centres, escape rooms, country parks and many more over a diverse range of projects includingΒ artwork, special effects, theming and event consultancy.Β We specialise in artwork for family attractions and Halloween and Christmas services.
New to Artifex Designs in 2021, we are excited to launch the Artifex Studio where we will be passing on our love of creativity with an array of artwork, creative and seasonal workshops.
